6 Days Amboseli Naivasha Masai Mara Safari

Amboseli is the only park that provides a great view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Lake Naivasha is unique in that it features an extinct volcano, a thick forest, hundreds of Umbrella Acacia trees, and is home to Mt Longonot. Masai Mara is the most popular park in Kenya as it contains all of the big 5 (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard) and it is home to the great wildebeest migration.

Itinerary

Day 1:

Our professional safari driver will pick you up from the airport or hotel in Nairobi to your safari briefing.  After this short introduction you will be on your way. From Nairobi you will enjoy a scenic drive providing breathtaking views of the Kenyan landscape. Along the way you will stop for lunch in the town of Emali.

In the afternoon you will arrive at your accommodations where you will have time to rest before heading out for an evening game drive in Amboseli National Park. Set in rolling savannah scenery, the park is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. At 5,896 meters, it is the highest free-standing mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. Evening is a great time to spot these animals as they are out eating their diner before it gets dark and they retreat to the safety of their habitat. [Optional: Visit the Masai Village where you can discover the tribal culture and interact with local people. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.]

After the drive you will return to your accommodation for an authentic African dinner. After dinner there will be time where you can meet other travelers and swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.
