Our professional safari driver will pick you up from the airport or hotel in Nairobi to your safari briefing.  After this short introduction you will be on your way. From Nairobi you will enjoy a scenic drive providing breathtaking views of the Kenyan landscape. Along the way you will stop for lunch in the town of Emali.

 

In the afternoon you will arrive at your accommodations where you will have time to rest before heading out for an evening game drive in Amboseli National Park. Set in rolling savannah scenery, the park is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. At 5,896 meters, it is the highest free-standing mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. Evening is a great time to spot these animals as they are out eating their diner before it gets dark and they retreat to the safety of their habitat. [Optional: Visit the Masai Village where you can discover the tribal culture and interact with local people. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.]

 

After the drive you will return to your accommodation for an authentic African dinner. After dinner there will be time where you can meet other travelers and swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.

After breakfast you will head out for a full day safari game drive. Amboseli in Masai language means “place of water”. The park has an endless supply of water which is filtered through thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mount Kilimanjaro. Vast herds of elephant, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala and leopards are sure to be seen.

 

During the drive, your guide will introduce you to the lifestyle and behaviors of each animal you see and answer any questions you have. This park offers designated areas where you will be able to enjoy a picnic lunch right out in the open. After lunch it is time to continue with the safari game drive.

 

After the drive you will return to your accommodation for a well-earned rest before enjoying another an authentic African dinner. After dinner there will be a bonfire where you can meet other travelers and swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.

After a full breakfast you will head out for a morning safari game drive. In addition to elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and the elusive leopard, nearly every vista within the park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. This make for gorgeous photographs and videos.

 

After this exciting morning game drive, you will head to Lake Naivasha to check into your new accommodations and enjoy a late lunch. You will have time to relax for the remainder of the afternoon. [Optional: Boat ride to Crescent Island on Lake Naivasha and viewing of the hippopotamus.]

 

In the evening there will be another an authentic African dinner before heading to bed.

Today you will begin early. After a full breakfast, it is off for a morning safari game drive in Hell’s Gate National Park. Aside from all the wildlife, Hell’s Gate National Park famous for its natural geysers, star rock towers and geothermal steam that make it one of the most atmospheric parks in Africa. During the drive, your guide will introduce you to the lifestyle and behaviors of each animal you see and answer any questions you have. [Optional: This is the only park where you can walk (free) or rent a bicycle to ride as you view animals.]

 

In the afternoon you will arrive at your accommodations where you will have time to rest before heading out for an evening game drive in Masai Mara National Game Reserve (the jewel of Africa). The Masai Mara is home to the “Big 5” – lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhino – along with over 90 other animals and over 400 species of birds. Evening is a great time to spot these animals as they are out eating their diner before it gets dark and they retreat to the safety of their habitat.

 

After the drive you will return to your accommodation for an authentic African dinner. After dinner there will be a bonfire where you meet other travelers and swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.

After a filling breakfast you will head out for a full day safari game drive. [Optional: Take a hot air balloon ride over the reserve as part of your morning game drive. This is an amazing way to see the animals up close.]

 

Masai Mara is Kenya’s arguably the most famous reserve. It’s smooth grass carpeted hills and plains dotted with flat topped acacia trees are full of rich faunal diversity, fulfilling the expectations of any visitor searching the African landscape for the Big 5. Again, you will be able to enjoy a picnic lunch right out in the open. After lunch it is time to continue with the safari game drive. During the drive, your guide will introduce you to the lifestyle and behaviors of each animal you see and answer any questions you have.

 

After the drive you will return to your accommodation for an authentic African dinner. After dinner there will be time where you can meet other travelers and swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.

Today you will begin early. After a quick hot drink, it is off for a morning safari game drive. All the animals are out in the morning, searching for breakfast, so it is the perfect time for your drive. The abundance of animals at Masai Mara makes it possible for you to see the greatest variety of African wildlife.

 

After the drive you will return to your accommodation for a full breakfast before checking out.

Later in the morning drive you will head back to Nairobi. Along the way you will stop at The Great Rift Valley for photographs and then on to the town of Narok for lunch. Our driver will deliver you back to the airport or your hotel where you can say your goodbyes.

Note: During July through October you may also see the Great Wildebeest Migration take place at Masai Mara.
