Today you will begin early. After a full breakfast, it is off for a morning safari game drive. All the animals are out in the morning, searching for breakfast, so it is the perfect time for your drive. The park is famous for its millions of pink flamingos lining the lake shore. In addition, the lake is a central gathering spot for more than 50 mammals.
You will then proceed to Masai Mara National game Reserve, stopping for a quick lunch along the way.
In the afternoon you will arrive at your accommodations where you will have time to rest before heading out for an evening game drive in Masai Mara National Game Reserve (the jewel of Africa). The Masai Mara is home to the “Big 5” – lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhino – along with over 90 other types of animals and over 400 species of birds. Evening is a great time to spot these animals as they are out eating their diner before it gets dark and they retreat to the safety of their habitat.
After the drive you will return to your accommodation for an authentic African dinner. After dinner there will be a bonfire where you can meet other travelers and swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.
