Our professional safari driver will pick you up from the airport or hotel in Nairobi and bring you to your safari briefing.  After this short introduction you will be on your way. From Nairobi you will enjoy a scenic drive through volcanic mountains and lakes providing breathtaking views of the Kenyan landscape. Along the way you will stop at The Great Rift Valley for photographs and then on to the town of Narok for lunch.

 

In the afternoon you will arrive at your accommodations where you will have time to rest before heading out for an evening game drive in Masai Mara National Game Reserve (the jewel of Africa). The Masai Mara is home to the “Big 5” – lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhino – along with over 90 other animals and over 400 species of birds. Evening is a great time to spot these animals as they are out eating their diner before it gets dark and they retreat to the safety of their habitat.

 

After the drive you will return to your accommodation for an authentic African dinner. After dinner there will be a bonfire where you meet other travelers and swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.

After a full breakfast you will head out for a full day safari game drive. [Optional: Take a hot air balloon ride over the reserve as part of your morning game drive. This is an amazing way to see the animals up close.] On this day you will get to go up to the Mara River to see the crocodiles and hippopotamus. Along other parts of the river you will see a variety of animals coming to get a drink of water.

 

During the drive, your guide will introduce you to the lifestyle and behaviors of each animal you see and answer any questions you have. This park offers designated areas where you will be able to enjoy a picnic lunch right out in the open. After lunch it is time to continue with the safari game drive. [Optional: Visit the Masai Village where you can discover the tribal culture and interact with local people. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.]

 

After the drive you will return to your accommodation for a well-earned rest before enjoying another an authentic African dinner. After dinner there will be a bonfire where you meet other travelers and swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.

Today you will begin early. After a quick hot drink, it is off for a morning safari game drive. All the animals are out in the morning, searching for breakfast, so it is the perfect time for your drive. The abundance of animals at Masai Mara makes it possible for you to see the greatest variety of African wildlife.

 

After the drive you will return to your accommodation for a full breakfast before checking out. You will then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the way you will pass Mount Longonot and see beautiful landscapes. There will be a short stop for lunch in Mai Mahiu.

 

In the evening you will arrive at your accommodation where you will have time to rest before enjoying another authentic African dinner. After dinner there will be a bonfire where you meet other travelers and swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.

After a full breakfast, it is off for a morning safari game drive. All the animals are out in the morning, searching for breakfast, so it is the perfect time for your drive. The park is famous for its millions of pink flamingos lining the lake shore. In addition, the lake is a central gathering spot for more than 50 species of mammals.

 

After this exciting morning game drive, you will head to Lake Naivasha to check into your new accommodations and enjoy a late lunch. You will have time to relax for the remainder of the afternoon. [Optional: Boat ride to Crescent Island on Lake Naivasha and viewing of the hippopotamus.]

 

Another delicious authentic African dinner is on the menu before heading to bed.

Aside from all the wildlife, Hell’s Gate National Park famous for its natural geysers, star rock towers and a geothermal steam that makes it one of the most atmospheric parks in Africa. [Optional: This is the only park where you can walk (free) or rent a bicycle to ride as you view animals.]

 

After this exciting morning game drive, you will head to Amboseli National Park to check into your new accommodations and have lunch. In the afternoon you will have time to rest before heading out for an evening game drive in Amboseli National Park.

At 5,896 meters, it is the highest free-standing mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. After a big breakfast you will head out for a full day safari game drive. Amboseli in Masai language means “place of water”. The park has an endless supply of water which is filtered through thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mount Kilimanjaro. Vast herds of elephant, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala and leopards are sure to be seen.

In addition to elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and the elusive leopard, nearly every vista within the park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Leaving Amboseli, you will check in to your lodgings at Tsavo West National Park. There you will have lunch and some time to relax before heading starting your exploration of Tsavo West National Park. On your evening safari game drive, you will see enormous herds and excellent game viewing including cheetah, lion, leopard and hyena and a herd of over 3,500 elephants.

 

After the drive you will return to your accommodation for a well-earned rest before enjoying another great authentic African dinner. After dinner there will be a bonfire where you meet other travelers and swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.

Today you will begin early. After a quick hot drink, it is off for a morning safari game drive. The permanent water sources at Tsavo West makes it possible for you to see a great variety of African wildlife.

 

After the drive you will return to your accommodation for a full breakfast before checking out.

Then it’s off to Tsavo East National Park to check into your new accommodation. You will have some time to relax from the early start to the day before having lunch.

 

Following lunch, you will head out for a game drive in Tsavo East. This park is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man-eating lions. Your guide will provide a full orientation to these animals to ensure that you are not on the lion’s menu.

 

After the drive you will return to your accommodation for a well-earned rest before enjoying your last authentic African dinner. After dinner there will be a bonfire where you meet other travelers and swap stories about your safari adventure. Then it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.

After a full breakfast you will head out for a morning safari game drive. The beautiful landscape combine with the wide variety of animals makes this the perfect spot for your last game drive of the package.

 

On the drive back to Nairobi you will stop at the town of Emali for lunch. Our driver will deliver you back to the airport or your hotel where you can say your goodbyes.
